How the Project Works: Print E-mail
a class selects a specific wolf (or wolf pack) from our directory. Once each week students are given updates and reports on the wolf or pack they are following. In a sense, they are adopting a specific wolf and its pack. Students are asked to keep records, track territory, create data files, develop and support theories. Students are given challenges, or mind problems, to respond to and presented with findings associated with on-going research investigations. Each classroom will have access to a dialog chat room to ask questions and respond to weekly discussions and problem-solving tasks.  Students will have an opportunity to share their ideas and inquiries with other classrooms via our dialog chart rooms.  Schools can enroll as many teachers as desired. If for any reason, program services are less than anticipated, payments will be refunded if requested in 30 days. The Yellowstone Wolf Project is an exclusive PDL service for member schools. To participate simply enroll a teacher with Internet access in their classroom. The cost for participation was $50 per classroom, per year. Services begin in October and continue until May.
