Formed 2002 from members of Druid Peak pack, currently ~15 wolves.

“The Slough Creek pack is one of the most recently-formed packs in the park. Former members of the Druid Peak and Mollie packs came together in 2002 to form this now-burgeoning group of about 15 wolves. They occupy a prime territory in the park and are seen frequently by park visitors. This group is one of the up-and-coming packs that seem destined to dominate the increasingly competitive landscape of wolf packs.”
